Oniracom is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the first ever TEDx live event right here in Santa Barbara on Tuesday March 17th!

TED is a nonprofit organization that hosts annual TED Conferences where some of the world’s greatest minds come to speak. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Sir Richard Branson, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and more. TED also hosts a program called TED Talks on their website TED.com where talks are posted daily that viewers can access anytime.

TEDx is TED’s new program of independently organized local events, where people can come together to experience TED Talks video and live speakers simultaneously.

The first-ever live TEDx will be hosted in Santa Barbara and will include talks by leading scientists such as Laura Shulz, David Eagleman, Donald Hoffman, and Fei-Fei Li. The event will also host some of today’s top astronomers, mathematicians, authors, and philanthropists. For more information, check out the TEDx Santa Barbara website.

Registration is FREE but limited! Be sure to register online here while space lasts.

THEN, don’t miss the after party at Pure Order Brewing Co at 410 N Quarantina, off Milpas. Burger Bus will be serving some great food as well!

We look forward to seeing you there and expanding our knowledge of the world together!

The Lobero Theatre on Sunday, July 13 is staging the event Americana Live at 5pm! Americana Live will celebrate the Santa Barbara music scene by featuring six local artists: Erland, The Kinds, Doublewide Kings, Omar Velasco, Bear Erickson, and Haddon Cord. There will be food and sponsor exhibits to keep the feel-good tempo going throughout the event. The artists will play brief, yet stunning performances individually, and also collaborate with one another between sets. The event is supported and provided by one of our awesome clients, Clean Water Tour. And hey, it’s also sponsored by Oniracom (that’s us!) and the New Noise Foundation.

Don’t miss the savory sounds of these unique local SB musicians on Sunday! You can buy tickets for the event here, and be sure to watch the promo video reel below. Hope to see you all at the show!

If you’ve ever been to Santa Barbara, you know that there are a bunch of amazing local spots to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner at. From Japanese to French cuisine, we’ve got some special local restaurants that are dear to our hearts here in Santa Barbara. The staff has chosen their ultimate favorite places, which I’m sure was extremely hard, as there are just so many great eateries sprinkled throughout Santa Barbara county.

Jacob chose Bouchon. “The most fresh farm to table comfort food paired with hand picked wines. Worth every dollar.”

Matt picked a French favorite, Renaud’s. “Love the chicken sandwich on their freshly baked French roll.”

Mike went for the ramen at Itsuki. “Amazing Ramen and Udon, great sizzling plates, highly recommended in their new location, although sadly they moved 8 miles farther away from me! I still proudly support.”

Sean picked a great local favorite, Lily’s Tacos. “They have eyeball tacos (which are delicious by the way).”
